Why I Started Repcambodia — A Letter to the Khmer Diaspora

To all my Khmer brothers and sisters living across the U.S.—this is for you.

I started Repcambodia because I didn’t see us being represented the way we deserve. I saw brands repping other cultures loud and proud, but nothing that made me feel connected to our roots in a real way. Not just Angkor Wat designs or flag colors — but something deeper. Something that speaks to how we were raised, what our parents sacrificed, and what it means to grow up Khmer in America.

This brand was born out of pride — not just for the homeland, but for the survivors, the hustlers, the moms, dads, and kids who still carry the culture with them even after war, trauma, and migration.

Repping Cambodia Means More Than Just a Shirt

When you wear Repcambodia, you're not just putting on a hat or a hoodie. You’re making a statement:

We’ve seen a lot of division lately — even now, with the news of conflict between Cambodia and Thailand. And it reminds me why I built this brand in the first place:

To bring us together.
To create something we can all stand behind.
To make our culture visible.

This One’s for Us

Repcambodia is for the kid who got made fun of for eating prahok.
It’s for the dad who never took a day off because he had a family to feed.
It’s for the grandma who still prays in Khmer every morning.
It’s for you, and it’s for me.

I’m proud to say we’re 100% Cambodian-owned, built from the ground up, and here to stay.
So if you’ve ever felt unseen, unheard, or underrepresented — know that Repcambodia is yours.
